We've stayed at Ocean Inn once before and had an upstairs room in the back row which, though nice enough, was perhaps a little small; bed and the rest of living/eating area were in the same room. So it was good to get a larger room this time, which was downstairs towards the front this time; spare bed and living/dining space with TV were separate from the bedroom. If we return to this motel, we'll try to snag another of these rooms. Also, SimplyFresh next door has a wide assortment of fresh food and fruit, and makes good coffee.

I was lucky to find a room at a good price in the last minute late at night. The person at the desk was very helpful and nice when he was showing me where the room was located and the designated car park for my room. The room was cozy with heat pump and electric blanket on each side of the bed. I did not use the wifi but there was free wifi available. The room was on the second floor and was not as noisy when the rain was pouring at night. The location is very easy to find and close to the motorway.

Staff/management can not fault them. They were awesome and understanding. I had an unexpected issue crop up. Weekend staff was so cool and knowledgable and helped me download transport app to get around cheaper. Room and beds were clean. Location: once you got your bearings is quite handy to shops/malls, etc Upstairs unit backs on to native bush with Tui birds is relaxing and peaceful. Awesome shower pressure. Good for temporary stop over. Thank you Ocean Inn.

Room was very nice and clean. Looked like it had been freshly refurbished. The room had everything we needed and we were more than happy. As I knew we weren't going to arrive prior to the check in close off, Ray kindly advised which room we would be in and left the keys in the room. Clear and speedy communication which was much appreciated. Was about a ten minute drive in peak traffic to the Bruce Mason Centre. Great place to stay if you have an event on there

Room has been recently repainted. Very clean with daily replacement of towels etc. very good walk in shower. Location is great with easy access to motorway and shops close by. Have stayed here before and will again if the situation arises..
